Instructions for Developers

Participants are invited to propose innovative services for Cultural Heritage with real potential for development and impact.

Submission Requirements

Each submission must include:

1. Video Pitch

  • Max duration: 3 minutes;
  • Quality: strarting from HD;
  • Format: MP4;
  • Video compression: H264;
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 (landscape);
  • File size: 500 MB max;
  • Subtitles must be embedded directly into the video file and not submitted as a separate file.

2. Project Proposal

  • Max 3–5 pages (PDF);
  • Must follow the provided template.

Submission Process

All materials must be uploaded via a shared Google Drive folder.

Instructions

  • Create a new folder;
  • Name it: CHEDAR_Challenge_TeamName_ProjectTitle;
  • Upload: Video:
    •  Video: TeamName.mp4
    • Proposal: Proposal_TeamName.pdf

Only submissions completed through the form will be considered valid.

Important Notes

  • Ensure files are accessible.
  • Late or incomplete submissions may not be considered.

  • Include at least one concrete use case.
  • Keep the proposal understandable to a broad audience.
  • Show how your idea can be developed in practice.
