At the Istituto Geografico Militare (IGM), you enter a place deeply rooted in cartography, territorial surveying, and the official representation of space. As Italy’s national cartographic authority, it combines a long-standing military and institutional mission with a strong research and technical dimension, offering a setting that is both authoritative and closely connected to the interpretation of territory.
